I’m like ‘how’s that a problem?’
I think it’s dumb for boys to hate on girls because they say they like men with money — trying to make it feel like it’s something bad. No its not. Did you know that making money is proof of possession of many high qualities and virtues? Such as; patience, courage, enthusiasm, determination, intelligence, skill, talent, ambition, creativity, etc. A man who has managed to make money, believe me, they also have these qualities. Some of them might not be very good people but they possess a lot of positive qualities necessary for survival and wellbeing.
Why then would a girl like or love a broke ‘today-i-don’t-feel-like-doing-anything’ guy‘, nothing in their pockets, nothing in their bank accounts? Why? Oh please cut that ‘falling in love‘ crap here. ‘falling in love‘ does not pay bills at the restaurant, at the park, at home, anywhere. ‘falling in love‘ does not pay bus fees, school fees, grocery fees, fuel fees, water fees, vacation fees, it pays no fees at all.
So you need to tell me that a girl should give up the hope of a descent life just for what again? What? ‘falling in where?’ ‘love!’. NOSENSE! Why do people enjoy love in the first place? It is because love makes life sweeter. It makes living a magical experience. Some people say it makes them fly without wings (which’s impossible according to science). Others say it makes this world feel like heaven, that’s why they call their babes ‘my angel‘.
Let us pause it right there, how do you fall in love and land on unpaid water bills, unpaid rent, unpaid airtime, unpaid grocery, empty house, zero cash on mobile money, zero cash on bank account? That’s like falling on rocks somewhere in the mountains. Nothing sweet or magical can come out of that! Forget flying without wings, cause what you gonna have is sore legs from taking a bus and walking the rest of the way. I think you are beginning to understand ‘dem’ girls!
It’s okay, at first truth punches you in the face but slowly you get used to it. It took me sometime too but finally it sank in. Now I keep reminding myself, ‘boy you better add a 1 before those zeros (00000000) on your bank account‘. Otherwise, no fine ‘babe’ is gonna want to fall in love and land on your granite bank balance. Such a fall doesn’t break hearts, it breaks bones.
Quick announcement; stop calling girls ‘gold diggers’ just because their bar of standards is way above the reach of broke boys. I think you should turn it around and call those broke boys ‘empty mines‘. Blaming fine girls for not liking you because of your sorry bank balance is like blaming an expensive restaurant for charging you before the meal, they know not everybody will afford it and they don’t want to make you wash their dishes because they already got staff. Na mean? It’s nothing personal.
So, my broke friend, as you set out to make girls slip and fall.. in love, please for goodness sake, take a good look at that ‘restaurant’s menu’, focus only on the prices, usually on the right, if you cant afford it just excuse yourself and disappear. Somebody else, some other man with some heavy pockets needs to sit in that seat. Let the girls choose who is best for them without judgement. Na mean?
