The Familiarity Problem: People Tend To Disregard &Disrespect Those close to Them — No Matter How Great They’re.

By Yewe Yewe on May 28, 2022May 28, 2022

Sometimes it is better for people to remain strangers. Well, at least to not be entirely acquainted. It is so because, naturally, people tend to respect and admire things that are out of their reach — unfortunately, the moment they lay their familiar hands/eyes/ears on them, the once respected people or those deserving of respect and adoration become trash.

Only celebrities can explain with ease what I’m trying hard to unfold here. Despite how the world around them adores and cherishes them, the opposite is true with people in the inner circle of the celebrity. i.e. family relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. These people instead of feeling lucky and blessed to be close to such a person of epic importance, rather they don’t give a damn!

Do you want to know why? Because people have Ego problems and along with it comes all vices of Virtues.
