What you will be doing
Ensure timely completion of all compliance-related activities in accordance with statutory and regulatory timelines.
Manage statutory and global audits, including preparation and review of financial statements as per IFRS and IND AS.
Coordinate with Big-4 auditors (global teams) to ensure timely completion and closure of audits, including resolution of audit queries.
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
Review, monitor, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on audit and compliance matters.
Prepare cash flow forecasts related to tax payments and share projections with the treasury team.
Monitor changes in accounting standards, statutory regulations, and corporate policies, and assess their impact on financial reporting.
Support management with financial analysis, audit findings, and recommendations for process improvements.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective action plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure governance standards are met.
Maintain documentation and records to support audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.
Should have prior experience of handling global teams and clients.
What you will need for this role
3–5 years of experience in a related field or position, preferably with a Big 4 firm
Being a Chartered Accountant
Excellent communication skills in English both in verbal and written
Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft tools (advanced excel)
