As we have been investing in AI and helping customers’ software quality since 2019, we know how to best utilize GenAI in software QA. With that, we have recently launched our new product, Genesis, a GenAI agent for software quality assurance.
| About This Role
Job Purpose
You will work with the SREs in your team and engineers in the department on all things infra. You will help make our current and future products more reliable, secure, and cost-efficient while reducing toil via automation and keeping alerting noise to a minimum. You will be a backbone that provides structural integrity to the products we currently have and will launch in the future.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure development in AWS and Google Cloud.
Work with other engineers and product leads to implement various features while considering performance, security, cost efficiency and reliability.
Proactively identify functions that can be improved from the reliability, performance or cost efficiency perspective.
Facilitate future development by improving the existing infrastructure, code quality, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines.
Keep our system up and running to meet our SLO.
Participate in incident handling and be in on-call rotations (on a best effort basis).
Required Qualifications
Experience with infrastructure development with AWS and Google Cloud, ability to independently propose architecture designs, including components of these cloud platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-code tools, preferably Terraform.
Proficiency in at least one of the backend languages (Golang, Python, etc.).
Experience with container orchestration frameworks, preferably Kubernetes.
Willingness to dig into the unfamiliar codebases written in Rails, TypeScript, or Golang — while we don’t expect direct contributions to the product features, some understanding of the inner workings will be required.
Being able to work in Japan standard time (working partially in JST can be discussed).
English skills (Business level or better)
Nice-to-Have
Experience with agile and scrum development
Experience with the E2E test automation tools and passion for testing
Experience with secure coding guidelines and security frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISMS
