Social Media Manager
Scope:
20 hours per week
Work schedule aligned with client’s time zone 4PM to 8 PM Atlanta, GA Time
Remote position with flexible hours
Collaborate closely with the event management team
Utilize provided resources and brand guidelines for content creation
Responsibilities:
Create and schedule content for Instagram, including 3 reels and 2 static/carousel posts per week
Craft engaging captions using provided resources and AI tools like ChatGPT
Include specific call-to-action (CTA) in each post for event RSVP
Conduct social media outreach through DMs to invite potential attendees
Answer basic questions about the event from interested parties
Assist with email outreach to potential sponsors and vendors
Support brand ambassador and volunteer recruitment efforts
Schedule Zoom meetings between team members and potential sponsors/vendors
Research local lash artists and salons for potential outreach
Occasionally edit rough drafts of vlogs or YouTube videos
Requirements:
Proficiency in Instagram and other social media platforms
Strong content creation skills, including graphics and video editing
Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging captions and DMs
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
Basic understanding of email outreach and research techniques
