Social Media Specialist

This is a remote position.
Schedule:
20 hours per week with potential to become full-time
Monday to Friday, 9AM – 1PM New Zealand (5 AM to 9 AM Manila Time)
Client Timezone:New Zealand Time Zone

Client Overview
Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding landscaping and drilling business that’s venturing into machinery sales and distribution. This multifaceted company is at an exciting growth stage, seeking to streamline operations and implement robust systems to support its expansion. You’ll be at the forefront of this transformation, playing a crucial role in shaping the company’s future.

Responsibilities
Creating engaging and on-brandsocialmediacontent across all brands.
Creating and editing short videos for Reels, TikTok, and other platforms.
Creating of flyers and posters for the social media account.
Developing a well-organized and consistentsocialand email engagement program.
Creating a content calendar and scheduling posts acrosssocialmediaaccounts.
Managing the company’s Facebook page, Instagram account, and LinkedIn Profile.
Community lead engagement – responding to follower messages, interactions, and likes.
Proactively messaging influencers or related companies via posting or DM to increasesocialengagement.
Provide recommendations onsocialmediastrategies and regular reporting on activity andsocialengagement growth.
Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies to growsocialaudiences.
Assisting with Tradeshow event coordination and engagement strategies at trade shows.
Tracking and reporting results of socially driven campaign.

Requirements
Requirements
Provide a portfolio sample of previoussocialmediacontent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
At least two years of experience creating content forsocialmediaand managingsocialmediaaccounts.
Proficient in MS Office, Windows, and Google tools.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or design/creative field.
3-5 years of experience managing and growing a professionalSocialMediaaccount.
Ability to create engaging content for varioussocialmediaplatforms.
Experience with advertising onsocialmediaplatforms.
Proficient in usingsocialmediamanagement tools.
Experience in managing and leveragingsocialmediafor consumer and tech brands.
