Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Highlights:
Contract type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM EST with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Direct reporting to law firm partners
Potential for expanded responsibilities after 3-6 months, including call screening and lead qualification
Responsibilities:
Answer and manage incoming calls (approximately 10-15 per day)
Take down caller information and relay messages to appropriate team members
Conduct monthly follow-up calls with personal injury clients to check on their progress and gather updates
Document client interactions and update case information in the CRM system
Potentially conduct cold calls to businesses for immigration services (future possibility)
Provide empathetic and professional customer service to all clients
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English, with a neutral accent
Strong listening and empathy skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency in using CRM systems and VoIP software
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Basic understanding of legal terminology (preferred but not required)
