Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time WordPress Content and SEO Assistant to join our team. This role will be pivotal in supporting our client operations by taking on task-level responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution of content and SEO processes, and enhancing the performance of client websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, basic SEO, and digital marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Operations:
Post and format new content (blog posts, pages) across client websites.
Optimize on-page SEO elements, including meta tags, headers, and alt text.
Run keyword research and reporting using tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.
Track backlinks and prepare analysis reports.
Manage content calendars and collaborate with the SEO Strategy Manager.
WordPress Management:
Handle client site updates, including content, images, and basic layout changes.
Perform routine plugin updates and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Identify opportunities to improve website UX or integrate additional features, such as Google Reviews.
Google My Business (GMB):
Set up, verify, and optimize GMB profiles for clients.
Monitor and respond to client reviews to maintain a positive online presence.
Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across directories.
