Cority
Social Media Manager
Responsibilities
We Coriteers are uniquely mission-focused and passionate about what we do. You’ll be surrounded by people who care deeply about making the world a safer and healthier place but are also competitive and measure success in terms of growth and revenue. The right person for this role is equal parts creative and strategic. You bring a strong point of view on what social should be in B2B, and you’re always looking for ways to test new formats, stretch the brand voice, and spark meaningful engagement. You’ll let data and culture guide your decisions, and you’ll help turn Cority’s social presence into a key lever for brand and business growth. When you’re successful, you’ll feel proud of the stories you helped shape, the trust you helped build, and the visibility you helped drive. And you’ll help Cority lead a category that’s ready for its breakout moment.
Launch bold, story-first content formats
Create the majority of Cority’s social content, with a strong focus on short-form, social-first video
Develop and test experimental content formats that are bold and engaging
Bring campaigns to life through original content that educates, entertains, and builds brand memory
Facilitate content capture at in-person events and quarterly content-batching sessions with key internal players
Storyboard, shoot, and edit social-first short form video content, while occasionally collaborating with freelance editors to extend capacity when needed
Execute and evolve Cority’s social media strategy
Work closely with the Director of Content and Storytelling to own and refine Cority’s organic social strategy (LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Threads, Reddit; potentially IG/TikTok)
Align social content with brand, demand generation, product marketing, and campaign priorities
Grow Cority’s share of voice in relevant platforms and identify emerging social spaces where our audience is gathering
Track, analyze, and report on performance across all organic social channels using platform analytics, campaign tracking, and share of voice reporting
Use performance data to continuously optimize content formats, posting cadence, and engagement strategies, and share actionable insights with brand, campaign, and demand generation teams
Amplify internal voices across the funnel
Partner with internal SMEs, executives, and customer-facing teams to co-create social content
Help lead content strategy for executive visibility, including interview-based storytelling, ghostwriting, and social-friendly narratives
Build programs to activate and scale internal voices from product, engineering, and customer success
Translate internal expertise into externally engaging, human-first stories
Drive visibility, engagement, and brand relevance
Track performance of organic social and experimental content using platform and campaign analytics
Iterate quickly based on performance, trends, and audience behavior
Ensure Cority shows up in a way that is credible, platform-native, and true to our brand personality
Serve as the internal expert on social-first best practices, trends, and tone
You Might Be a Fit If You
Can confidently create and edit short-form video and other social-first content for social platforms, and have the willingness to continue sharpening your skills in this area
Are fluent in social-first thinking and know how to turn technical ideas into compelling, conversational content
Have 3 to 6 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital storytelling in B2B environments
Are comfortable partnering with executives and SMEs to develop their voice and influence
Understand how to position social as a two-way brand and audience touchpoint, not just a distribution channel
Are curious, strategic, creative, and energized by a high-trust, high-impact environment
Are comfortable using analytics tools to make decisions and can connect social media performance to measurable business outcomes
