As a Game Design Director you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented production teams to build and fine-tune progression systems and their economics for our amazing games.
Your Role
-Collaborate with multiple production teams throughout the development cycle to devise innovative game mechanics that not only increase player engagement but also boost revenue potential – now that’s the kind of magic we’re looking for!
-Act as the go-to person for all economy design and progression matters, shaping and refining our monetization strategies and business models to create a win-win situation for both players and the studio.
-Dive deep into the intricacies of existing games, meticulously auditing their business models and progression systems. Armed with your keen insights, you’ll make informed recommendations to take the player experience to new heights.
-Join forces with other support teams to ensure the proper testing and balancing of economies through play tests and quality control – your expert eye will help keep everything running smoothly.
-Identify areas for improvement in economic management tools and operational monitoring processes, suggesting and implementing the right tools and methodologies to optimize our monetization strategies and balance economies to perfection.
-Be a driving force in fostering a culture of feedback and sharing within the Design department, playing a key role in its development and growth.
-Stay ahead of the game by conducting competitive intelligence and benchmark analyses. You’ll be our trend-spotter, bringing in fresh external ideas and best practices to keep our games at the cutting edge.
-Share your wisdom and knowledge by creating engaging training modules on economic design – we believe in nurturing talent from within!
Qualifications :
-Previous experience as a game economy designer – you’ve got the background and know-how to work your magic.
-Understanding of monetization concepts – you speak the language of revenue generation.
-A wizard with spreadsheets – crunching numbers and analyzing data is right up your alley.
-A fearless problem-solver – you never back down from a challenge, always ready to take on any obstacles that come your way.
