Hey Jane
Graphic Designer
Unless noted otherwise, all positions are fully remote and available to candidates living in CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, and WA.
We’re in a pivotal moment for reproductive and sexual health, and Hey Jane is uniquely positioned to rise to the occasion.
Our mission has always been to provide safe, discreet medication abortion care, and we’ve already helped more than 100,000 people access the support they need. Today, we offer a wide range of reproductive and sexual health services directly through your phone. Our clinical care team—board-certified physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and patient care advocates—is always within reach. We’re committed to delivering safe, judgment-free virtual care from people who genuinely care.
We’re looking for an energetic, forward-thinking Senior Graphic Designer to help shape the most accessible and trusted virtual abortion clinic.
In this role, you’ll drive our creative direction, leading a major brand identity refresh across all channels; producing and rapidly iterating on landing pages, social content, emails, presentations, print materials, and more; developing visual concepts for key campaigns; and supporting internal teams to maintain high brand standards.
You’re a digital-first designer who understands that strong creative work blends compelling visuals with meaningful outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced settings, collaborate effectively, manage your workload independently, translate strategy into smart design choices, and are passionate about expanding access to reproductive care through impactful visual communication.
Your work will directly advance abortion access during a crucial time.
You are:
• A digital-first designer with strong mobile instincts: You have 5+ years of experience focused on digital marketing, especially websites and social platforms. You understand the technical nuances of mobile and web design, have experience with motion design, and naturally think mobile-first.
• A brand identity expert: You know how to bring a brand identity to life visually and have led that expression across everything from patient materials to multi-state billboard campaigns.
• A fast, iterative creator: You excel at generating multiple concepts for A/B testing and adapt quickly based on results and feedback.
• A skilled multitasker: You manage projects independently, stay organized, and juggle competing priorities without missing deadlines.
• Technically proficient: You’re highly skilled in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and you can create templates in Canva and Google Slides for broader team use. You optimize assets for accessibility, speed, and engagement.
• Mission-driven: You’re deeply committed to Hey Jane’s mission and want to use your design skills to expand access to reproductive health care.
• Experienced in fast-paced environments: Background in startups or consumer-focused companies is a plus.
You will:
• Bring our brand refresh to life: You’ll apply our updated brand identity across every Hey Jane touchpoint to create a consistent, trustworthy, and accessible experience.
• Design for key channels: You’ll develop clear, engaging, high-performing assets for landing pages, social content, emails, and physical materials like posters, guides, and merchandise.
• Lead the full design process: You’ll manage work from early concepting and wireframes through final delivery and asset organization.
• Collaborate to drive growth: You’ll partner closely with Marketing to produce and test materials that support patient growth and engagement, while also assisting Business, Product, and People Ops teams.
• Safeguard our visual identity: You’ll uphold brand standards and serve as the primary contact for digital and print creative execution.
Compensation:
• $90–110k salary plus competitive equity
