About the Role
We’re hiring a senior Full-Stack Engineer focused on Growth to work on Jobscan, a multi-domain SaaS product helping job seekers optimize resumes using data, rules-based logic, and AI.
This is an end-to-end ownership role across product and marketing surfaces. You’ll build and optimize systems that drive user acquisition, activation, and conversion – spanning landing pages, SPA UI, APIs, and infrastructure — then iterate based on data.
What We’re Looking For
A product-minded engineer who can turn ambiguous growth problems into measurable, shipped improvements. You should:
Make strong trade-offs between speed, quality, and cost
Be comfortable running experiments and iterating quickly
Understand how technical decisions impact conversion, SEO, and user behavior
Communicate clearly in English and Mandarin
Core Responsibilities
Build and optimize high-impact user flows (landing → signup → activation → conversion)
Instrument and run A/B tests and experiments to drive measurable improvements
Optimize performance and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
Improve SEO performance (rendering strategy, structured data, crawlability, indexing)
Manage and tune CDN, caching, and edge delivery (e.g., Cloudflare, Engine)
Work on marketing surfaces (e.g., WordPress, landing pages) to increase organic traffic and conversion
Diagnose issues across SSR/prerendering, caching, and bot vs user behavior
Own and ship end-to-end growth features across frontend (Vue SPA), backend APIs(PHP Laravel), and infrastructure
Integrate external services (analytics, AI, payments) where needed
Debug and resolve production issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Continuously improve CI/CD, observability, and performance efficiency
Required Qualifications
5+ years building production web applications
Strong full-stack fundamentals (frontend + backend)
Experience with:
Frontend: Vue (or similar SPA frameworks)
Backend: Laravel (or similar)
Database: MySQL (or relational databases)
Experience with SEO, performance optimization, or growth engineering
Experience running or supporting A/B testing / experimentation
Experience with CDN, caching, and browser performance optimization
Experience with Docker / containerized environments
Proven ability to make sound technical trade-offs
Strong product mindset – focused on user and business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on high-traffic SEO pages (100k+ monthly visits)
WordPress (custom plugins, performance optimization)
Experience with Elasticsearch (or similar search systems)
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., PostHog)
Experience modernizing or migrating legacy systems
Experience working with VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) or accessibility compliance documentation
What Success Looks Like
You consistently ship measurable growth improvements
You identify and fix conversion leaks and performance bottlenecks
You design experiments and learn quickly from data
You improve systems while moving fast
You turn ambiguous growth problems into shipped solutions
Identify bottlenecks in how we build and ship, and implement fixes that improve velocity and reliability.
