Data Analyst

Job Description

This is a remote position.

 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and work with one of our clients, a global leader that develops and distributes brands across more than 150 countries and territories, with products available in thousands of retail distributors worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for data extraction, transformation, and comparison, as well as maintaining data pipelines and ensuring data quality.

 

Job Activities

 

Perform data extraction, transformation, and comparison to support business decisions.

Collaborate with team members to build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data movement.

Identify anomalies and inconsistencies in data and systems, ensuring data quality.

Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing solutions.

Generate reports and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

Support the optimization of existing processes to enhance operational efficiency.

 

 

Requirements

 

 

Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.

Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.

Familiarity with cloud environments and their core concepts.

Foundational programming knowledge and a willingness to learn.

A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.

Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Desirable

 

Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

Experience with Python for data manipulation and scripting.

Knowledge of tools like Databricks or other data processing platforms.

Familiarity with Java or similar programming languages.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
