Learning Tree Tutors is looking for a Physics tutor who can also tutor senior Math for Grades 8 to 12. A relevant degree is required and a Master’s degree is desirable. Tutoring is mostly online, but in-person opportunities may be available. The schedule is flexible and customized. However, you must be available at least two evenings a week/or a minimum of 4 hours weekly for after-school tutoring. Weekends optional.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach one-on-one tutorials and create customized lessons.
Provide teaching, homework help, enrichment, and support.
Ensure student success and provide feedback on progress.
Qualifications
University degree with focus on Physics/Math.
Certified OCT Ontario teacher preferred.
Excellent English and communication skills.
Experience in:Teaching/tutoring school and/or college students.
Working with the Ontario curriculum.
Able to tutor young people with patience, kindness and respect.
Residing in Toronto GTA
Permanent resident or citizen of Canada.
Rates are $30/hr for online tutoring for senior math/sciences.
