We are seeking an individual who is a broad-based HR generalist with diverse experience in policy, programs and practices that support, engage and promote career development and community building. As well as, being hands on from a daily operations perspective, the ideal candidate will have a strategic and continuous improvement mindset to enable the company to scale and to attract, retain and develop the best talent.
This role will primarily act as a business partner in support of our UK teams but will also provide support to teams in other European countries as required. The initial engagement is a fixed-term 6 month contract with the potential for full time conversion.
What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities):
Provide HR support, advice and coaching to managers on people-related matters including employee relations, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and recruitment best practices
Support onboarding and offboarding activities
Provide guidance on all policies and procedures
Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers
Ensure practice compliance relative to GDPR, pre-employment screening, and required labor practices
Support benefits programs including review and renewal processes
Act as business partner to help teams achieve business objectives
Play an integral role in company culture fostering engaged teams, innovation, productivity, and a sense of purpose and ownership
Support employee development, performance management, and workforce planning, reinforcing a strong performance culture
Work closely with leadership to proactively address organizational issues
Develop strong partnerships with business leaders to promote value-added services that maximize People Operations contribution

What You’ll Need (Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Track record of successful HR administration and employee relations experience
Excellent fluency with English speaking and writing skills required
Hands-on experience with recruitment, employee relations, compensation/benefits and staff development.
Excellent interpersonal influence and communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and a consultative approach
Proven ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives and successfully manage multiple stakeholders.
CIPD HR certification, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or the equivalent skills and knowledge gained through progressive experience in the field of HR
Solid understanding of UK employment laws and compliance, immigration best practices, and employment contract administration
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS system usage
Ability to travel to London and Leeds offices, as needed

Additional European country HR knowledge including: Spain, The Netherlands, and France
