About this role:
Join our Product team to become our Senior UX Designer, reporting to the Director of Product Management within Marketing Mix. As a Senior UX Designer at Nielsen, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our suite of SaaS-based software products. Working collaboratively with Product Managers and Technical Product Managers, you will lead the design and development of intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall usability and satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Technical Product Managers, to understand project requirements and objectives.
Lead the UX design process, from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience across multiple SaaS products.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
Develop and maintain design documentation, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate the user experience vision.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in UX design.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present and justify design decisions.
Qualifications
English fluency
Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
Proven experience as a UX Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX design projects.
Expertise in SaaS-based software development with a focus on the media measurement and ad tech space is preferred but not required.
Balancing work on multiple initiatives from estimating to planning and delivery
Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Practical understanding of technical limitations, software development process and working in a Scrum environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
