SEO
We’re looking for an in-house full-time SEO manager to join our growing team to build out and execute our organic content strategy.
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Marketing to identify the best organic traffic growth opportunities, and collaborating with our content partners to execute those plans. You’ll also be responsible for making sure our site is well-optimized for search engines.
What is Patchstack?
Patchstack protects website owners and developers from hackers. As the #1 open-source vulnerability processor in the world, we find vulnerabilities in WordPress core, plugins & themes. Our users receive a 48-hour early warning about new security risks and we provide websites with automatic protection from vulnerable components.
We also run a community of ethical hackers and security researchers who help us find and patch these vulnerabilities in open-source components. We also work with some of the biggest hosting companies in the WordPress
What we do:
We provide a SaaS solution to detect and virtually patch plugin vulnerabilities.
We run a community-driven bug bounty platform (Patchstack Alliance) to nurture a community of independent security researchers behind the WordPress ecosystem.
We maintain an open and free WordPress vulnerability database
We provide vulnerability information to some of the biggest WordPress hosting companies
We provide professional code review and security auditing to WordPress plugins
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who has a bird’s eye view on SEO – you enjoy digging around search traffic data and can turn your insights into successful content plans.
We’re also looking for someone who enjoys working together with different teams. As a SEO manager you’ll be facilitating feedback and collaboration between our external content production partners and the in-house security expert to ensure that all our content meets our quality expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Develop successful SEO strategies to support our broader business goals
Collaborate with our internal team & external content partners to execute content plans
Creating SEO landing pages
Monitoring & reporting on our organic search performance
Keyword research to identify organic traffic growth opportunities
Identifying technical SEO improvement areas & suggesting fixes
Job Requirements
Experience creating & executing successful SEO strategies
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Bonus points for experience with building WordPress sites
Knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem and/or WordPress security is a plus
