Writing
Patchstack is looking for a technical content writer to join our team. You’ll be creating useful content to help people build better – and more secure – WordPress sites. While we are not necessarily looking for a cybersecurity expert, this role does require a good understanding of WordPress security.
What is Patchstack?
We are a group of people passionate about open-source software, protecting website owners and developers from hackers.
We do this by helping them identify & patch vulnerabilities in their WordPress sites. We also run a community of ethical hackers and security researchers who help us find and patch these vulnerabilities in open-source components.
What we do:
We provide a SaaS solution to detect and virtually patch plugin vulnerabilities.
We run a community-driven bug bounty platform (Patchstack Alliance) to nurture a community of independent security researchers behind the WordPress ecosystem.
We maintain an open and free WordPress vulnerability database
We provide vulnerability information to some of the biggest WordPress hosting companies
We provide professional code review and security auditing to WordPress plugins
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a true advocate of WordPress. This role requires a deeper technical understanding of WordPress & PHP, and a nuanced understanding of WordPress security.
We’re looking for someone who loves sharing tips & tricks about WordPress – you don’t just enjoy building websites, but you also want to share your experiences with others.
You would be writing articles & tutorials on various WordPress-related topics, focusing on security, as outlined in our content plan. You’ll also have a chance to bring your own ideas to the table.
