Role: Financial Accountant
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: Up to Php 90,000 per month
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with flexibility

About the Role
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health. You’ll be responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, reconciling accounts, and generating insightful reports. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, bank deposits, and payroll processing.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing budgets, as well as forecasting future financial performance.
Bookkeeping: Reconcile bank statements, verify invoices, and maintain a clean general ledger to ensure accurate financial data.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support specific business initiatives and strategic decisions.
Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide valuable insights.
Organization: Maintain a well-organized bookkeeping system, ensuring all records are properly filed and accessible.
Compliance: Assist with tax preparation or work alongside our tax professional to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to streamline financial processes.
Requirements
Proven experience in being a Financial Analyst, Bookkeeper with a US-Based Client
Well-versed with GAAP and other US Financial Practices
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Experience with Xero, or any bookkeeping-related platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL)
