Why is this role so important in our country?
To support the development of the L&D function within Pennylane, we are looking for an L&D Manager to join the People team.
Reporting to our Head of HR Development, you will be involved at both the strategic and operational levels to design, deploy and continuously improve an excellent learning experience.
You will co-develop training programs and be responsible for the execution of the training plan to enhance performance in support of Pennylane’s growth.
You will rely on personas to place L&D at the heart of the employee experience, thanks to a strong proximity to HRBPs, managers and internal experts.
How will you contribute to the project?
Your responsibilities will include:
The skills development plan: from construction to deployment
β Participate in COMEX/ELT discussions to develop the training plan aligned with the business strategy.
β Analyze the needs expressed during annual performance reviews, to refine the plan.
β Develop and execute communication plans for training activities, in order to strengthen awareness, adoption and session attendance rates.
β Plan the sessions and manage the logistics from end to end.
β Manage individual and group training requests as they arise and adjust the plan accordingly.
β Carry out the quarterly L&D reporting (potentially in partnership with our HR Data analyst, AxΓ¨le).
Program design and management
β Co-create learning paths by persona and design ad hoc initiatives for each business unit according to priorities.
β Maintain and enrich the training catalogue, continuously update and refresh the content.
β Design and lead soft skills programs independently.
β Co-design hard skills/specialized programs with managers or internal experts.
Internal management of the Pennylane Academy
β Integrate the platform into recurring training habits and workflows; promote consistent use.
β Provide recommendations to maximize usage.
Enriching internal training
β To build and lead the Pennylane internal trainer community.
β Propose and implement mechanisms to facilitate internal knowledge transfer and communities of practice.
β In close partnership with HRBPs, identify and monitor internal training initiatives; provide the necessary support to centralize measurement.
The profile we are looking for
β At least 5 years’ experience in an L&D role, combining strategic thinking and operational responsibilities.
β Broad expertise on L&D topics: needs analysis, learning path design, facilitation, supplier management, learning platforms and KPI management.
β Proven ability to analyze the results of performance cycles and translate them into actionable learning plans.
β Strong program and stakeholder management skills with a business acumen enabling smooth communication with managers.
β Excellent communication skills in French and English ; able to write clear and impactful internal communications.
