About the Role

We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our small, passionate team of researchers and engineers. This is a full-time, remote position with occasional in-person meetings.

As our designer, you’ll work closely with the founding team to iterate on our existing design, improve user experience, and drive conversion rates. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our product and making accurate healthcare information more accessible and affordable.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize user journeys across our platform using Figma
Collaborate with the founder ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/lilou-artz/ ) to gather requirements and implement designs
Conduct user research, including concept and usability testing
Create and manage product component libraries and technical guidelines
Occasionally support marketing efforts with design assets for various channels (e.g., https://pillser.com/how-to-read-supplement-facts )

Immediate Projects

Pillser health card: Personalized recommendations based on user profiles (part of https://pillser.com/ask )
Supplement diary: Logging and tracking supplement intake and health goals (new product)
Pillser stack exchange: User-shared supplement stacks with reward system (new product)

Requirements

Must-Have:

2-3 years of UI/UX design experience
Proven experience designing e-commerce websites
Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design
Strong understanding of design systems
Experience collaborating with React developers
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in healthcare or nutrition-related projects
Familiarity with AI and its ethical implications in healthcare
Basic understanding of front-end development

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $90K – $130K (based on experience)
Equity: 1% – 2% (4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff)
