In this role, the Deal Desk Specialist/Analyst will collaborate with the Manager of Deal Desk and the broader team to develop the next stage of Deal Desk operations. This role is a key part of the Sales Operations organization. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining accurate pricing and contract information within Salesforce CPQ, and helping the sales team navigate complex internal and external requirements to craft mutually beneficial agreements with prospects and customers.
Initially, this role will focus on processing and approving both standard and complex non-standard deals, activating billing, and enabling software features. It also involves enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness while serving as a vital cross-functional partner to stakeholders across the company. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
How you’ll add value:
– Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, recommending contract options and value strategies to help close deals
– Work across teams to approve new quotes, orders, amendments, and renewals using Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ
– Manage customer contracts and data in Salesforce, Workfront, Monday.com, and other necessary systems
– Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate customer subscriptions and notify relevant parties of changes
– Help document sales processes and policies using flowcharts and maintain documentation libraries
– Follow the product catalog, price books, and sales guidelines
– Support all commercial activities, including deal structuring, contract creation, pricing, offer reviews and approvals, contract management, and sales quoting
– Serve as a Sales-facing expert on processes, policies, and pricing
– Maintain pipeline accuracy, review CPQ cleanup dashboards, and provide CPQ reporting
– Monitor and respond to Sales support cases in FreshDesk/Salesforce and Slack, meeting SLA requirements
– Work with sales operations to drive process improvements and system upgrades, including Salesforce CPQ
– Assist Sales in crafting and presenting complex orders, acting as a liaison with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Service, and other stakeholders
– Be available to work extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, and as needed
– Partner with Sales Operations and Sales to support process and system improvements
– Perform additional deal desk tasks as required
– Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need to succeed:
– At least 3+ years of experience in deal desk operations, sales, sales operations, order operations, financial operations, or revenue accounting within SaaS/B2B
– Proven ability to collaborate with GTM teams and cross-functional departments
– Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce CRM or CPQ
– Strong business acumen, analytics, troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and project management skills
– Ability to think both strategically and tactically
– Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules
– Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines both independently and collaboratively
– Strong communication skills and ability to partner across the organization
– Good judgment and decision‑making abilities
– Strong written and verbal communication
– Occasional travel may be required
