Introduction:
Sword Health is looking for a bold and imaginative content leader to join our Website & Content team. This is a role for someone who can write exceptional content, but also think strategically, generate ideas that stand out, and shape editorial direction across a fast-moving business.
You will help shape the voice of a brand that blends clinical credibility with emotional storytelling. You will craft content that resonates deeply with real people, including HR leaders, healthcare buyers, and members seeking relief.
This role blends editorial direction with creative execution. You will be our go-to for big ideas, from feature stories and research reports to campaign concepts and brand guides. You will also roll up your sleeves to bring these ideas to life by writing and refining content across formats. You will collaborate closely with design, campaign, and growth teams to create work that inspires and performs.

What you’ll be doing:
Creative Ideation & Editorial Leadership:
Lead creative and editorial development across formats, including web, blog, campaigns, guides, reports, and brand content
Pitch and develop bold content concepts that differentiate Sword Health and create emotional resonance with our audiences
Shape our brand voice, storytelling style, and editorial standards to increase impact, engagement, and recall
Strategy & Execution
Own and evolve the editorial content strategy in alignment with business and brand priorities
Write and edit outstanding content that delivers clarity, originality, and value across a range of formats
Maintain a high-performing editorial calendar that supports launches, campaigns, and long-term growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with designers, producers, and marketers to bring your ideas to life
Ensure alignment between creative concepts, messaging, and visual design
Collaborate constructively across teams while staying anchored in the priorities of the growth team
What you need to have:
5–7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, or creative leadership
A portfolio that shows originality, strong writing, and an ability to execute ideas across platformsExcellent storytelling, editing, and writing skills with a flexible voice and strong editorial judgment
Experience evolving or managing brand voice and messaging in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
Ability to move between strategy and execution with comfort and confidence
Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and teams
What we would love to see:
A background that includes both brand storytelling and performance marketing
Experience in a high-growth startup, especially in health, tech, or B2B industries
Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to push creative boundaries and try new approaches
Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and workflows (not required, but a bonus)
£111,510 – £175,230 a year
These compensation bands are just the starting point. Once someone joins and proves they’re outlier talent, we adjust quickly to ensure their compensation aligns with their impact.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary and any potential variable, bonus or sales incentives, and the Company’s estimation of the value of private company stock options, if applicable. The pay range is subject to change, future value of company stock options is not guaranteed, and compensation may be modified in the future.
