In this role, you will be a key contributor in securing and optimizing multi-cloud environments across AWS and Azure. You’ll work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to design and implement cloud security architecture, embed security into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with industry frameworks. This is a high-impact role with long-term potential, and ideal for candidates with a strong grasp of cloud-native technologies and a proactive mindset toward modern threat landscapes.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Philadelphia, with 1–2 days a week onsite. The salary range is $110K to $135K, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud security architecture across AWS and Azure platforms.

Assess cloud environments for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities using tools like AWS Config, Azure Security Center, or Prisma Cloud.

Work with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

Define and enforce cloud security policies, controls, and standards aligned with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.

Evaluate and configure IAM policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and network security rules for multi-cloud systems.

Monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud environments using SIEM/SOAR tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).

Conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for cloud-native applications.

Requirements

5+ years of cloud security experience, ideally with exposure to both AWS and Azure.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security best practices, and modern deployment pipelines.

Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or equivalents is a plus.

Comfortable navigating enterprise security challenges including identity/access management, encryption, logging, and container security.

Able to work independently while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

Professional certifications (nice to have): CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate.

Benefits

401k Retirement Plan (4% match)

Paid Time Off (Vacation, Public Holidays)
