About the Job
We are looking for an experienced and passionate On-Page SEO and Content Optimization partner who is interested in a project based collaboration with TSG.
Responsibilities
Take the lead to set On-Page SEO and Content Optimization strategy for clients that will best help them improve their online visibility and meet specific goals and KPIs
Analyze strategy opportunities and recommend strategies, interactions or approaches
Determine SEO and Content strategies to be leveraged and formulate tactics that align with current trends and client goals
Fully implement recommended On-Page SEO and Content Optimization strategies and take ownership of results
Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, for SEO. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Track, measure and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify recommendations and opportunities for improvement
Interpret and present data to Clients, as well as using the learnings to make adjustments for better performance
Suggest templates for deliverables and reports and be open to adjust to TSG recommended deliverables
Provide accurate time estimates for project deliverables and ensure those time estimates are met
Assist in the management of client expectations throughout project lifecycle
Assist in client presentations to identify key strategic challenges, define digital needs and provide strategic solutions
Take ownership of and ensure that all work is created according to TSG high standards and the standards of each one of our clients
Proactively assess clients’ and prospects’ websites and find opportunities for increasing performance
Work with TSG team to ensure strategy across channels is in sync
Must Have
7+ years experience as On-Page SEO and Content Optimization strategist
A portfolio of results you can share with TSG
Standardized processes in place for the services you offer
A strong quality control process for deliverables
Drive to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, changes and technologies (including AI) in On-Page SEO and digital marketing in general
Show proven skills in identifying digital opportunities
Thrive in a collaborative work environment
Experience defining content KPIs and measurement
Deep understanding of how digital content moves through today’s media landscape and define relevant and impactful strategies
At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams
Native-level proficiency in English
Working overlap from 9am-5PM EST
Reliable internet connection and (remote) office with a door
Nice to Have
Existing contacts and relationships with partners / small agencies in related digital marketing fields: Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO
The ability to lead a project which goes beyond On-Page SEO and content strategy; for example copywriting, technical SEO
Experience with mid to large scale digital implementations
Ability to manage ambiguity and successfully navigate large organizations
Experience with Technical SEO, Email Marketing, etc
Example of projects for the SEO / Content Optimization partner
Content optimization for product and category pages for a B2B protective equipment distributor – retainer, 10 pages / month
Content optimization for high traffic pages of B2B companies
Proactive action and mitigation of risks for website redesign, to avoid loss of traffic
SEO driven copywriting for B2B enterprise companies in Finance, Legal, SaaS etc
SEO driven blog copywriting for B2B enterprise companies
Monthly reporting on SEO metrics to show progress
Our process for working with partners (once they are vetted by TSG team)
An opportunity is identified during sales process
The partner is invited to support pitch process – assess current state of the business for the lead and suggest a course of action / program to support client meeting their goals
The partner also quotes for the job to be done
Once the opportunity is closed by sales, the partner is invited to complete the work, based on the SOW, timeline and quoted budget
Established partners receive additional work for existing clients of TSG, without going through the entire process, starting from pitch prep
