Teaching Assistant – Atmospheric Science Lab

Salary/Position Classification

$15.00-$18.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

10 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparation and delivery of study materials, quizzes, and exams

Grading

Office hours – provide learning support for students

Online preparation/equipment set-up

Exam Proctoring (if needed)

Minimum Requirements

Must have completed ATSC 210, ATSC 240, and either PHYS 251, MATH 166, or ATSC 220

Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester

Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check

Other relevant experience in meteorology and/or teaching
