We are looking for a Compute Platform Product Manager to join our team. The goal of a Compute Platform Product Manager at Wisk is to drive the design, implementation, and certification of the core computing platform for the autonomous vehicle which interfaces with multiple sensors such as inertial, air data, GNSS, radar and others. You will be part of the Avionics and Onboard Autonomy (AOA) Integrated Product Development Team (IPT) that is accountable to deliver the complete avionics suite for the Wisk Gen 6 autonomous vehicle.
Why we need you:
With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Compute Platform Product Manager to join our Avionics and Onboard Autonomy Integrated Product Development Team. The goal of the Compute Platform Product Manager at Wisk is to deliver a certified compute platform that is the basis for the Vehicle Management System and Mission Management System of the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will be part of the Avionics and Onboard Autonomy (AOA) team that is accountable to deliver a certified autonomous system, Mission Management System, Flight Control System, and Navigation system.
The successful candidate is respected in the aerospace engineering community as a knowledgeable and experienced technical leader who has direct hands-on experience in the development, integration, verification, and certification of aircraft or integrated avionics systems with the technical breadth necessary to interface with all functions such as Engineering, PMO, Manufacturing, Test, and Certification. In this role, the candidate must be proactive, forward thinking and self-motivated with the ability to inspire and lead by influence a team of skilled engineers.
What you will do:
As part of the Avionic and Onboard Autonomy IPT organization, you will act as a Compute Platform Product Manager for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
You will plan and execute the product development and delivery of a certified compute platform system that meets technical requirements, on schedule, within budget
You will report on cost, schedule, and technical performance to program leadership
You will define team priorities and deliverables
You will work closely with other Integrated Product Development teams
What you have done:
You have a B.S. in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 12 years of experience in the development, integration, verification, and certification of aircraft or large integrated avionics systems
You have worked with, and have a deep understanding of operating fundamentals and practical limitations of Flight critical (DAL A) flight control computer platforms
You have led team(s), formally or informaly, in a new product development environment
You have experience with ARP4754, ARP4761
You have experience with DO-160, DO-178, DO-254
Desired:
You have experience with an aircraft or UAM development program
You are familiar with regulatory requirements such as Part 23/25, 27/29

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $162,271 – $186,518 per year – The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
