The Role:

You will develop and maintain the necessary tools and processes to detect, analyse and prevent fraud, collaborate closely with marketing, affiliates and finance stakeholders and provide regular reporting to senior management impact and findings.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
Continuously monitor the quality of inbound traffic and clients generated across all acquisition channels.
Focus initially on fraud prevention in the mobile space (particularly within app networks/channels) and progressively expand the scope into web-based acquisition fraud.
Design, implement and manage fraud‐detection processes, rules, models and tools, with collaboration with other departments, where necessary.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to identify, investigate and reduce traffic fraud, affiliate/marketing misattribution and invalid leads/clients.
Develop and maintain a reporting mechanism (i.e. dashboards, KPI metrics, incident logs) to assess the volume, cost, trends and impact of fraud prevention activity.
Participate in post-mortem reviews of fraud incidents, recommend process improvements, contribute to policy and guideline development.
Support program audits, traffic-source validations, and partner monitoring to ensure compliance with agreed terms and traffic-quality standards.
Stay up to date on industry fraud trends, emerging threats (especially in the mobile/app ecosystem), investigative techniques and regulatory considerations.
Main requirements
Proven experience in a fraud prevention, traffic-quality or risk management role – preferably in a digital / online-marketing or mobile app-acquisition environment.
Experience working with or implementing fraud detection tools/technologies (e.g., traffic-source monitoring, device fingerprinting, anomaly detection, rules engine) and developing processes around them.
Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel advanced functions, Power BI/Tableau) will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of mobile app acquisition, affiliate marketing models, traffic-source dynamics, attribution and conversion funnels is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with industry fraud types and mitigation best practices.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large datasets, traffic logs, attribution data, device/browser information, conversion flows and identifying anomalies.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Comfortable building dashboards and reporting mechanisms; able to present findings, metrics, trends and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise, escalate issues appropriately, and work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
