Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance of our software products.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery

Deploy updates and fixes, providing Level 2 technical support

Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration

Implement and monitor containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

Collaborate with developers and IT staff to manage code releases

Ensure system scalability, security, and high availability

Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and production issues

Implement and maintain version control systems and configuration management tools

Monitor and optimize application performance

Stay current with industry best practices and emerging DevOps tools

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role

Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash)

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git

Familiarity with database technologies and SQL

Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Experience with big data technologies

Contributions to open-source projects
