Beauty is all around us. You don’t see it, do you? Damn you’re missing a lot. What do you think about sunrise, then sunset? That never-ending cycle of old and new, dark and light, morning and night, cold and heat? Have you ever truly seen it for what it is? Magic! Never? How about the goosebumps on your skin from the invisible blowing wind? Do you feel it? Ever wonder what it is? Never? The motion of a slow-flowing river, the steal lake, the back and forth waves of an ocean, do you smile seeing it? No? How about the irony of a lake on top of a mountain(crater lake), isn’t it fascinating given the fact that water and soil don’t usually mix up well without one dissolving the other? or the mesmerizing northern lights? Did you ever doubt your geography teacher when they said that the earth rotates every 24 hours? Sounds like planetary dancing! It’s for real, all planets are always in constant motion, and the stars too!
Nothing is still in this universe. Everything, all matter is naturally in a frenzy of ‘snap and step’, ‘snap and step’. You got that right, movement! or, as we call it on the street, dancing. With all this dancing going around, you can’t be so serious. With such a rigid attitude, you surf against the tide and guess who is thrown beneath, you. For how long are you going to be a bystander, while the alliance of atoms, electrons, and nuclei is ‘snapping and break dancing’? That makes you an incompatible piece of the universe. Sooner or later you’re going to be kicked off the VIP deck up above to the others down below.
You’ve to dance your way through life, snapping and breaking just like atoms, electrons, and nuclei within planet earth as it rotates around its axis and makes the mega revolution around the sun. Do it to be compatible, to get out of life’s way. Do it that you may keep going. Apparently, that’s the only way through. Or else, you’ll snap. I mean the psychological snap. This is the part where you break down enriching pharmaceutical companies because your doctor knows nothing else to tell you except prescribing antidepressants, pain killers, stress relievers, you name it.
Would you believe it, if I told you that the most developed nations in the world broke the record of having the most depressed people in the world? Remember they’ve access to almost everything technology and development can give but still somehow they snap, the psychological snap. Unless they suffer depression and stress just for the competition, global domination then that’s a sign. A suggestion from the universe that maybe it is about time we turned on the volume a little bit louder and get those life-moving beats and songs rolling, in the background, in our little life discos.
You can’t get far unhappy and/or unpleasant, lack of music in your life does both to you. It takes away your natural charm, your magic, the ability to succeed smoothly. That’s why Mr. or Ms so serious finds progress hard even in small matters. That’s why and believe me, companies(startups or established), and nations (African, European, Asian, or American) are always stuck in crises. It’s a lack of music! It’s us not dancing(motion) our away through situations.
Unhappiness and unpleasantness are like dangerous weeds in a fertile garden. Nothing good on a personal level, community level, family level, national level, and/or international level is ever going to grow and flourish — the positive is weakened by the negative, the good by the bad, the great by the mediocre, the honest by the deceptive, the brave by the wimp, the swift by the slow. In all those cases, the downside always has its music turned down low.
The universe is a big wild wide stage, everything in it is performing. The things which become perfect are those that get lost in the act just like Lao Tzu wrote centuries ago. That ‘the dancer should be lost in the dance, so there is no more dancer and no more dance but one thing’. This is where music comes in, to make it inspirational enough and smooth for anything worthwhile to be done and done well.
‘listen..’ did you hear the music?
