Who We’re Looking For
To be a fit for this job, you must have…
Prior experience in a supply chain role for a company using global manufacturing sources and fulfilling customer orders (either via your own warehouse or a 3PL).
Excellent data analysis skills and a solid understanding of the relationship between supply chain and finance (working capital, landed costs, etc.)
The creativity to accomplish a lot with less and a ferocious drive to continuously improve operations. We have built our company on the belief that the right person can deliver world-class results with minimal resources.
The ability to work both quickly and methodically. You create tremendous amounts of accurate, finished work much faster than other people you work with. You don’t leave any “loose ends” when you finish your work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin skills are a plus (but not required), as much of our manufacturing base is in China.
Extremely good organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
The desire to work in a lean, small-company environment.
A strong interest in using new technologies and services to enhance business performance. We run on Netsuite, but use many other modern tools (BigQuery, Fivetran, etc) to optimize our data analysis and operations.
Had you been with us last month, you would have…
Run the monthly forecasting process for both existing and new products and coordinated with finance to finalize it.
Distributed inventory between multiple global locations
Worked with our freight forwarder and other team members to coordinate transportation and logistics for shipments from China
Performed an analysis on return rates for various products, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions
Managed an analyst who supports supply chain planning calculations and analysis.
If you work with us, within the next two years it’s likely that you’ll…
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to drive down supply chain costs
Negotiate contracts with new and existing manufacturers and logistics providers
Perform an assessment of optimal global manufacturing locations to distribute risk and optimize costs
Work with Finance to optimize our working capital needs
Work with technical resources to continue to develop the capabilities of our BigQuery reporting database
Lead the assessment to determine the best 3PL partner to support our ongoing needs as we grow.
