Position description

Afore Consulting is recruiting Research Associates to work alongside our team of consultants.

Afore Consulting is a European public affairs consultancy specialized in providing services to the financial services and technology sectors. We have a global client base, a multicultural team and located in the heart of the European Quarter in Brussels.

You will be building on your university knowledge of researching and compiling information. We will include you in client programmes, events and the day-to-day work of a European public affairs consultancy.

You will be joining us in the run-up to the European Parliament elections and as the new European Commission takes shape.

You will be assisting consultants with

• Monitoring issues;
• Supporting on client outreaches and briefings;
• Attending conferences and events;
• Conducting research and reporting findings in a clear and concise manner;
• Preparing reports and newsletters on financial services as well as sustainable finance, FinTech and digital transformation;
• Joining client meetings and conference calls;
• Coverage of the European Parliament elections.

The contract will be for six months under Belgian law.

Candidate Profile

You will be at the beginning of your career with some knowledge of Brussels. You will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have a genuine enthusiasm for working in a political environment. You have professional fluency in English. You are organized and are comfortable working as part of a multicultural team.
